We are the Wilsonian 6th grade advisory group at ESM. Advisory is a place to be together in a safe setting to talk about all the happenings in 6th grade life. We have monthly themes we uncover together, after doing greetings and sharing. Advisory is a place to talk about our futures, too! Like where we want to go to college, and what we might do as professional adults one day :-)
On Fridays we meet for :30 minutes or :90 minutes depending on the Cluster rotation schedule. Last Friday, we created Dream Catchers together (after finding natural materials on the nature trail). Our personal dream catchers represent how negative energy can get caught and we have the control to turn it positive! Growth Mindset September is all about having a positive outlook and perspective during challenging times. Do you persist? Do you give up easy? Are you up for a challenge?
